Ministries of Humanitarian Care & Service
is to provide humanitarian care and service
within the surrounding area neighborhoods
by providing low-income
affordable housing
to single men and women
for independent living
and to seek local / state / federal funding
in support of this mission.
MBH is associated with the Ecumenical Community Center (ECC).
The MBH Board meets monthly. Ten volunteer Board members average 110 service hours per month.
The MBH Policy Council meets monthly with tenants to discuss concerns, offer options and develop policies to present to the MBH Board.
A part-time maintenance person, Mike Williams, is responsible for accepting and screening applications, collecting rent, supervising cleaning and maintenance, and coordinating agency and police involvement regarding tenants.

Always needed for tenants:
Single-sized matresses and box springs
Single-bed-sized sheets, pillowcases
and televisions.
